Wow, fourteen weeks doesn't sound like too, too long but so much has changed. Ivy is an accomplished sitter, roller, a great eater, and on occasion is even known to do a slow-motion commando crawl! She chatters up a storm, has signed "more," "all done" and "up," and today she was singing along with Johnny Cash! Cry-Cry! Adorable!

Multiple nights found she and her parents up at 3am, listening to screaming and wearing densely packed bags under their eyes the next day - all three of them. Helena admitted that a great deal of it is Ivy testing them and we talked about compromises. He's waking in the night, not every night but 4 out of 7. He doesn't cry, just plays then goes back to sleep. The problem is, it's breaking his deep sleep and shortening his sleep cycles. In that time they have made some excellent progress. I'm not exaggerating when I say they were impressed. They were! Both Jackson and Tabitha have improved their sitting. While neither can sit by themselves each can hold the sitting position for about a minute unaided. The biggest excitement of the visit was Jackson's rocking. Generally I enjoy reading others' blogs. If I don't enjoy them on a regular basis, I don't read them anymore. Pretty simple and straight-forward system. I like it. It works for me. We tried peas today! Both Jackson and Tabitha seem to really enjoy them. I'd say that Jackson likes trying new things and Tabitha likes eating.
